Citizen’s Alliance for Responsible Development – CARD is a volunteer, non-partisan organization working with citizens and officials for development that enhances the traditional character of the Hill Country. They believe preserving our open spaces, flowing water, clean air, and starry skies is good for our economy and our rural lifestyle.

Clean Water Action – CWA works to protect our environment, health, economic well-being, and community quality of life. Clean Water Action organizes strong grassroots groups and coalitions, and campaigns to elect environmental candidates and to solve environmental and community problems.

Greater Edwards Aquifer Alliance – GEAA promotes effective broad-based advocacy for the protection and preservation of the Edwards Aquifer, its springs, watersheds, and the Texas Hill Country that sustains it. The Edwards Aquifer is the source of the largest springs in Texas and the sole source of drinking water for more than 1.5 million Central Texas residents.

Hill Country Alliance – The mission of the HCA is to bring together an ever-expanding alliance of groups throughout a multi-county region of Central Texas with the long-term objective of protecting open spaces, water supply, water quality, and the unique character of the Texas Hill Country.

Hill Country Conservancy – HCC marshals public and private resources to preserve the natural areas and scenic vistas, aquifers and springs, rivers and streams, working farms and ranches, and the rural heritage of the Central Texas Hill Country for people to enjoy and cherish for generations to come.

Keep Wimberley Beautiful – KWB is an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful and Keep America Beautiful with a mission in mind to Keep Wimberley Beautiful, by example and with hands-on citizen project participation.

Meadows Center for Water and the Environment – Inspiring research and leadership that ensures clean, abundant water for the environment and all humanity.

Save Barton Creek Association – s a nonprofit citizen group working to protect and conserve the six watersheds of the Barton Springs Edwards Aquifer (Barton, Bear, Little Bear, Onion, Slaughter, and Williamson).  SBCA has been one of the lead conservation organizations in Austin working to ensure that future generations may enjoy the cool, clean waters of Barton Springs.

Save Our Springs Alliance – SOS works to protect the Edwards Aquifer, its springs, and contributing streams, and the natural and cultural heritage of the Hill Country region and its watersheds, with special emphasis on Barton Springs.

Sierra Club – Sierra Club works to explore, enjoy, and protect the wild places of the earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth’s ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

Texas Land Trust Council – TLTC promotes and sustains the conservation efforts of Texas land trusts. To date, land trusts have helped conserve more than 1.3 million acres in Texas.

The Nature Conservancy – TNC works to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.

Trinity Edwards Springs Protection Association -The mission of TESPA is to protect the Trinity and Edwards aquifers from overpumping, the springs that flow from this interconnected system, and the property rights of landowners who depend on and wish to conserve this precious natural resource.
